i have a collection of random keys.
i had used some on a book i made, but still had plenty left over.
here is where they went..and guess what? i still have some left..self-explanatory.

the first two were used in a movie some people in SF were filming.
im too lazy to look up the name of the movie, but it should be cool to see my stuff.
the prop stylist told me my things were used in a major shot. Ooo..

birthing day presents.

Hello. So this weekend is my Momma's birth and last weekend was Kahim's.
I made them both sketch/notebooks! ahh!
this top one is the one i am going to send my mom.
i made it by ripping a book cover off another book
and putting vinyl material over it.
I also made/sewed a new spine to allow more pages to fit inside.
weee.

i forgot to take proper pictures before i gave it to him. i apologize.
anyways, i made this one with, again, an existing book cover.
i also sewed on a new spine and put all sorts of different papers inside.
clearly the cover and back cover were made with beer labels.

im in the process of making more.
i want to try and sell them. ooo.
also, are you one of those people that peels labels?
well save them for me if you remember...hmph.

remember the book i made for my friend chad?

well, if you don't... refresh your mem..
i got a chance to "fix" it up.. the keys on the front kept falling off..
and i needed to add sheets of vellum between some of the pages..
they kept sticking and it was ruining shit..
as much as i wanted to ADD more stuff to the book..i didn't. (well, just one thing...)
i kept it to the original, but just wanted to preserve it better....
i ended up sewing together a sleeve for it. it's pretty cool. i likes.

hearts seem to be the theme right now.
i made this one a couple days ago.
it's 3 pieces of wood threaded together...
and then i played with resin again...
this time i made a thicker layer of it.
i love it.

im up early today. early bird catches the worm.
